Madison Park Makes Big Gains on MCAS!

Letter to Mr. McAfee from the State DOE:

Kudos to Brighton and Madison for posting such impressive MCAS gains.  I appreciate your willingness to speak to the Herald reporter, whether she called you or not! When she wanted to speak to principals, I suggested both of you to be able to speak about the work behind your gains, but she seemed determined to talk only to the highest-scoring and lowest-scoring school in the district, which I would not accommodate.  I am disappointed with the story on-line at bostonherald.com but hoping we’ll see some improvement in the print story tomorrow.
